Ryan brings over 12 years of experience working with emotionally and behaviorally challenged adolescents across both residential treatment and public school settings. He earned his Master’s Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and spent 10 years teaching Emotional Behavioral Support Special Education, helping students navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

At Velocity Health Group, Ryan believes that meaningful healing begins with connection. He is passionate about building authentic relationships with adolescents, creating a safe and supportive environment where they feel seen, valued, and understood. Known for his steady presence, patience, and genuine care, Ryan uses humor and lighthearted sarcasm to help break down barriers and foster trust, allowing young people to engage in the therapeutic process with confidence.

Drawing from years of experience supporting adolescents in both educational and residential settings, Ryan combines practical strategies with compassion to help clients develop emotional regulation, resilience, healthy relationships, and a stronger sense of self.

Outside of Velocity Health Group, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife of 10 years and their four children. A self-proclaimed craft coffee enthusiast, he can often be found perfecting a pour-over or exploring new coffee techniques on the weekends. Ryan is also actively involved in his local church and strives to reflect Christ’s love and grace in all aspects of his life, hoping to encourage and inspire others through both his personal and professional relationships.
