I joined Velocity Health Group because I believe in the power of relational, individualized care—and I’m excited to be part of a team that’s building something truly different from the ground up. It’s meaningful to help shape a model that centers healing over control, and creates real opportunities for trust, connection, and lasting transformation. Being part of this founding team is both an honor and an inspiration.
Kaitlyn LehmanWhat drew me to Velocity is the opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself. Every day, we have a chance to influence a young person’s future, build trust, teach accountability, and remind them that someone believes in them, even when they may not believe in themselves.
Zack GreenSimple. Behavioral health Is often forsaken or not taken seriously. It is something I am incredibly passionate about especially in our youth. Upon my first conversation about Velocity, I already knew Velocity’s approach would make a meaningful impact and significant difference. We are seeing change, trust & relationship building more than ever before in real time.
Justine TamayoI have personal family experience with residential behavioral health facilities. Looking back, I know the facilities we used did the best they could... but what if they could have done it better? This is my chance to make that better outcome.
Jen McGoonI joined Velocity because I am driven by the challenge of building something impactful completely from the ground up. There is a unique energy in taking a vision and turning it into reality, especially with a team that doesn't shrink away from obstacles. Ultimately, I wanted to be part of a culture where every choice we make actively shapes our future and leaves a lasting footprint.
Tod KellenI joined velocity to explore new opportunities for personal growth while making an impact. People fall in love with the work and help make an difference in the world.
Dylan BernskoetterI joined Velocity because the vision here gives me an opportunity to follow the growth of our patients with other professionals with the same passion.
Kyle BlevinsI joined Velocity because I wanted to be part of an organization where I could make a meaningful difference. I value the opportunity to provide genuine care and impact patient outcomes, rather than simply focusing on a quick “fix” and discharge. I believe the standard of behavioral health needs to change, and that change starts here at Velocity.
Bre AlexanderI joined Velocity Health Group because I was drawn to an approach that focuses on the individual rather than defining someone by a diagnosis or label. Throughout my time in the Marine Corps, survival instruction, and youth services, I have learned that lasting change comes from understanding what a person is going through and helping them develop the tools to move forward. Velocity's emphasis on individualized care, accountability, and personal growth aligns with values that have guided me throughout my career. I enjoy building relationships, providing mentorship, and helping adolescents work through challenges in a practical and meaningful way. Being part of a team that sees the person before the problem is what inspired me to join Velocity.
Brandon BlackmoreWe don’t just talk about valuing our team, we show it. When you join Velocity Health Group, you’re not just taking a job—you’re stepping into a career that empowers you to thrive…and to lead.
I decided to help create VHG due to a recognition of the significant problems associated with the way mental health care is being provided to adolescents and their families. I am excited to be a part of an organization that will be pioneering a model of professional development and care that will be providing answers to those problems in a way that is not only different but better. Our model will have a direct impact on the kids and families that we will be caring for. It will revolutionize the way mental health care is provided on a broad scale.
